Snow snow snow...

So we got a dumping of snow last night and over the day today. BOO...I'm not ready for winter just yet. I'm glad I don't have my intrepid anymore! I'm happy with my Jeep. At least it has 4x4 if I need it.

To the right is a picture of my team leader at work. This is after 3 night shifts at breakfast one morning. Hes not scared to do anything. We all are a little crazy when we get off of night, but what can you expect. haha. Oh well....

Christmas party was fun. No fights happened that I know of. I went down to the McCains party with one of my co workers. I said to him that we're never gonna get in. Hes like Lily we'll get in. So alright I believed him and sure enough we did get in. haha. He talked to the sercurity guard and I just walked in. We had a fun night that night. Danced up a storm. Lynn, who was my date for the night, said to me "who are you and what have you done with Lily?" Seriously for any of you who know me, you would have thought the same thing. I just let loose that night. Normally I'd be the one who'd be sitting on the side lines watching everyone dance ~ but not this time. I was trying to get everyone on the dance floor. Didn't quite work. My dancing partner and I danced to Cotton Eyed Jo all by ourselves on the dance floor. There was a table of maint. guys laughing and cheering. And I was laughing and thinking "oh my I'm gonna hear about this Monday night at work." But I really didn't hear anything. So thats a good thing. lol.

I'm pretty well ready for Christmas. I just have to finish my mom and my sisters gift. Which hopefully I can do soon.

The Bachlor

So I'm not sure who all is into the Bachlor on City TV (its over now by the way). I remember 1 season I watched it every time it was on. Then I kinda forgot about it and this season I saw it was on and I had to flip the channel. So I only watched a few episodes of it this time. I did get to see the last episode of it where he was SUPPOSED to pick one girl to marry. But he sent both of them home. I was like what????? Then I got thinking....hmmm.....hes still free as a jail bird then for me maybe?!??!?! haha. Alright I know that I'm totally off of my rocker but you just never know! Right?

Alright... back to the real world now..lol

I don't live such an exciting life. I like to read everone elses blog and then I think to myself 'my I live a dull life.' I just work, eat and sleep. Last weekend I did get the chance to go down to Grand Forks to shop, relax and just get away to clear my head. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. Very nice! I didn't spend a lot....a little over the limit for a 48 hour period oh well. Didn't get charged duty at the border anyways.

Tonight is our annual Simplot Christmas banquet. Going to be a good time. The competitions banquet is also tonight....same place. Except we are upstairs and they are down stairs. Could make for an interesting night.

So this is our Klassen Family. The latest addition was Dawson and hes 2....I think. I think we look pretty dang good. They all turned out great. Dennis Weins took them and he did a fantastic job. Tomorrow is Grandmas 70th birthday so we're all going out for supper to Waynes in MacGregor.

Grandpa and Grandmas 50th Wedding Anniversary

Well we had my grandparents 50th anniversary this past Sunday (the 21st). Their acutal anniversary is this saturday the 27th. Lots of fun partying with older people. haha. Grandpa was in his glory visiting with everyone. We are going to do family pictures on Nov.4 because my one cousin wasn't able to make it out from BC. This picture is of me and my Grandparents.

This year was also my parents 25th. I remember Mom always telling me a few years ago, "Don't get married the year of our 25th & grandpa and grandmas 50th. Cuz if they are both still around then we want to have a big thing for them." I always said "don't worry Mom I won't." And I didn't. Don't even have a boyfriend! haha

Not a whole lot is new with me. I'm just busy working all the time, so it seems. This saturday I'm heading out to Winkler to hang with the gang out there. Haven't been there since May and I really want to go see everyone out there. I miss them! :( I went to see Brad Paisley, Rodney Atkins and Taylor Swift on the 12 with Lina Peters. Man that was a rocking concert! And in January Big & Rich, Terri Clark and Emerson Drive are going to be in the city so some of my friends and I are going to go.

I'm not good at blogging every couple of days like Sonya and Tiffany. Some days I just don't know what to write here...like today. haha. I'll just post some more pictures here.

Melindas XXXrta Hot Sauce

Well this might be an unusual post on my blog, and Melinda will probably want to kill me for posting this picture. Melinda and I went to have supper with my friend Pete at Montanas last night and I noticed they had Melindas XXXrta Hot Sauce. So I wanted Melinda to pose with this sauce, because I had never seen anything like it. I know I'm a bit weird but I think thats why everyone loves me. HAHA or maybe not.

So I just finished 2 weeks of work and now I have the weekend off! YAY! Not a whole lot is new with me. I don't really have a social life working 12 hours shifts and shift work. Plus all my "friends" live in MacGregor and for some of them its just to far to drive to Portage. And some of them if they are in town they don't even call me up. ARGH but ya....anyways....I'm not even going to go there.

A couple of my friends have sent me e-mails lately with Random things that have happened to them and I thought it was neat so I'm going to try it out on here. Hope I can think of some random things to put here.

Well Tara is happily married now. Congrats Andrew and Tara! I got the privilege of being bridesmaid. Man we had fun. I wasn't even nervous until it came time to do my speech. I was just shaking up there. I thought 'man I wasn't nervous to walk up the aisle and I've been MC before and I wasn't nervous.' Oh well, it all went good and thats the main thing. Man its been awhile since I updated this blog.

Whats happened since then? Hmmm.....August long I was in Saskatchewan for a Buecker Family Reunion. Good times. If you have Facebook (if you don't you should) feel free to check out my pictures there. And other than that not a whole lot. Working lots and sleeping less. haha. Had 2 birthday parties. One with the co workers where I got icing all over my face (THANKS WENDELL!) I'm gonna have to get him back yet. Anyone want to help me? Ya not a whole lot is new with me.

They still haven't found anything out with my Dad yet. So I'm not sure what they are going to do now.

Camping and such.....

Well camping was an awesome time had by all. Giant water fight on Sunday morning. Cooled everyone off. Sunday was the hottest. So humid when I crawled out of the tent @ 9am.

Mom and Dads trip to BC was a waste of time and money. Doctors were quite rude out there. Told Dad that he should go home and get his life in order. Doctors these days.

Nothing else is really new. Its only 49 days til Taras wedding, and 35 days til my birthday. August long my bro and I and possibly my uncle are road trippin it to Hague, Saskatchewan to the Bueckert Reunion. Its gonna be awesome! I'm doing the childrens story in the Sunday morning worship service. Should be interesting. Helen thought I'd be good at it so we'll see how that goes.

Here I am....its 3am!

Hello all! Whoever actually reads these things. Sometimes I wonder if people actually read these things. A girl I know has one of these blogs site things too and I check daily for a new post. Hers are so much more interesting than mine. I don't live a very exciting life. Seems like I just eat, sleep and work, sleep, eat and work. So ya...doesn't give much time to anything else really. Working a night shift tonight. The fun begins at 8pm. I took Saturday and Sunday night off. Saturday Mom and Dad come back from Vancouver. YAY! Hopefully they'll have some answers. I don't really know a lot now cuz they phoned my bro and sis and ya....I wish they would have called me but whatever. So Saturday night my bro, sis and I are gonna head into the city after lunch sometime, do a round of Go Karting at Thunderrapids and take in a movie yet too at the Cheap Theatre. I think we're going to see Wild Hogs. I've seen it but they haven't. Its hilarious. I know they'll like it! Rick will almost pee his pants laughing I'm sure. Anywhozz....hehe. Sunday my friends and I are going to head to the beach...good ol' spruce woods here we come! Next weekend the Klassen side is going camping. Thats sure to be a riot...laughing til the wee hours of the morning. I was thinking of buying some Roman Candles but then I thought no they'd probably kick me out. Has anyone ever tried this before? Let me know what happened. Pretty excited about camping. Mom and Dad aren't going. Melinda is going with a friends family (also at Spruce Woods though), so Rick and I will be the only ones from our family. Thats alright, its better than having to sleep in a tent by myself! :( BOOO that would suck. Only 63 days now until Tara and Andrews wedding. AHH! I need to get a tan to get rid of my tan lines. I think I'm going to get one of those spray on tans from Tan FX in the city. Emailed them about the cost and that. I read somewhere that its like $30 and it lasts for 5-7 days. Better than spending a whack of cash on tanning minutes, lying in a bed and having to go forever! At least thats my opinion. Some people probably think I'm nuts, but thats ok! But anyways....I think I'm going to go to bed before my head hits the keyboard or else you'll just see a whole bunch of

Hi Ho Hi Ho Its off to Vancouver they go!

So today was the big day.....Mom and Dad took their first ever flight. They're going there so see a Neurologist. Dad has been unable to work since November 2005. He had ear surgery and everything went well, then a couple days later his life changed. Now he can hardly walk somedays and sitting or standing to long doesn't work. He eats in a wheelchair at home because sitting on a chair with his feet on the floor gives him a lot of pain. He had seen numerous doctors & neurologists, had a few MRIs and CT scans, oodles of blood work, and who knows what else. So they were referred to a neurologist in Vancouver. Dads apointment is on Monday at 9am (I think) (BC time). So we're all praying that this guy will hopefully have an answer and it can be fixed and we can get on with our regular life.

Oh do I ever hate to work when its SOOOO hot and humid out. Makes it all the more hotter and humid inside at work. And apparently we have Air Conditioning in there but 1 air exchanger thingy on the ceiling isn't enough. "Gonna make you sweat now" is my theme song at work. hehe. I'm such a dork. My "Great Grandpas" theme song at work is "I get fried with a little help from my friends". Going to the big Doc Walker concert at the Portage Ex tomorrow night with a couple girl friends. Gonna be a party! Well I really don't know what else to put here but ya.....I'm off.

Oh the Joys of Nights....

Well...tonight I get to start 3 night shifts. BOOO! Oh well someones gotta do it. I guess it'll have to be me! haha. Sunday the 8th Mom and Dad leave to go to BC for 6 days. Dads got a Neurologist appointment there. Hopefully they'll get an answer soon! Going to go check out Doc Walker on saturday night at the Portage Ex. I've never been to the Portage Ex. So we'll see how that is. hehe. Well I think I should go sleep some more. I'll probably sleep to much but oh well. That picture to the left is what I'll probably look like after 3 nights. haha.

July Long

July long was a pretty busy one....4 late nights in a row. I think I might be getting to old for that. HAHA. Just kidding....relax. The 29th went to Austin Christian Academys grad. Good times. Stayed at the party until 2am. Saturday I hung out with my friend Lori for the afternoon. Then my friend Ryan had a BBQ for supper. Hung out there and went mud bogging. I was going to take my Jeep out but I didn't. Should have...maybe next time. Sunday went to church and to Grandma B's for lunch. Then my sis and I went home and I had a good 2 1/2 hour nap in the afternoon. After supper we went to my Grandpa and Grandma Klassens to celebrate Grandpas birthday. Turned 74 on June 30th. Monday....I just relaxed at Mom and Dads. Was going to head back to Portage after lunch but I didn't. My friend Melissa called me to tell me they were playing ball after supper. I knew there was a reason that I didn't leave after lunch. haha.
