Grads, Grads, Grads

Well my lil' sis and her boyfriend are all graduated. She was bragging that she graduated a day before he did. But he ended up graduating with more credits than her. ha ha Those 2 love birds. Arguing like an old married couple. he he.

Sonya was walking around after grad and she said to me "Your blogs gonna look like my blog." ha ha. But I don't have the pictures she has up on hers.

Never wear white to work!

I told Sonya I'd try to blog more often. ha ha. Told her nothing exciting happened in my life that I thought was worth blogging. Shes like well I blogged about lost pots! So really I have no excuse. So here goes.............

So I thought I'd be brave and wear white capris to work on Thursday this past week. Should have known not to wear white. I never wear white. So it all started with getting out of my Jeep with, what I thought were, 2 empty Tim Hortons coffee cups. Turns out Fallon hadn't drank the rest of her coffee and it slipped out of my hand and onto my white capris. Luckily it was on the bottom of the pant leg. So I hauled out my trusty Tide to go pen (and they do work!!). I managed to get half of it out. I didn't want to waste the whole pen. About 5 mins later I looked down and a bird had POOPED on my flip flop right in front of my toes. The warehouse guys were peeing themselves laughing at me. Apparently its lucky if a bird poops on you so I bought a few raffle tickets from a co workers kids. Gosh that was not my day. I thought oh boy the day is only gonna get worse but it didn't. The rest of the day was fine. THANK GOODNESS!

Saturday night Faon, Tara and I headed to Winnipeg to Springs saturday night service. Afterwards we went to the Flying J in Headingly to eat because we were starving. Our male servers name said Betty on his tag. So me being the dork that I am asked him if that was his real name. He said yes and asked why? I said well I thought maybe he had switched name tags as a joke with one of the other servers. Hes like great its like high school all over again. We were tossing around names of what we thought maybe his name really was. All of a sudden one of the other servers said something to him and called him Andrew. Tara pipes up and says oh sure you tell them the truth and not us? ha ha. "Betty" says you heard that? We're like yep! ha ha. Oh boy we had a good laugh.

WOW I haven't posted in almost 3 months!

So I realized today that I haven't posted in 3 months. YIKES! I don't think anyone ever reads this anyways. Lets see what happened in the past 3 months..........

*Colleen Bueckert and Jamie Penner got married on May 31/08
*We had supper with my cousins from Saskatchewan at Altos here in town. Had so much fun and we were loud!

*4 of us from Simplot decided we are going to go to VEGAS in September. So far there are only 4 of us going for sure. So I've been trying to save up for that.

*We had a pre-wedding party for Jamie and Colleen @ the beginning of May. We played baseball, had a bonfire and then played lawn dutch blitz. It was FREEZING cold that day.

*I went out to Winkler on Mothers Day weekend (from Thursday-Saturday night). On the Friday Stien, Lina and I went shopping in Winnipeg and then to Celebrations. I think we had planned it in Jan that after Lina had the baby we were going shopping. We had a blast. Celebrations was awesome. The show was Greys House of Anatomy. I've watched 1 episode of Greys and none of House and I still found it hilarious!!

I can't believe my little sister is graduating from High School next week. She got accepted to start school in October at Advanced in Brandon to become a Nail Tech! CONGRATS MELINDA! I'm so happy for you!
